How does the Sanjeevani app work?
It provides a real-time virtual medical consultation facility to the patient, as if he were physically present before the doctor in his or her clinic or OPD. It can also create a virtual link between doctor and patient, if required, during the treatment of a patient.

- After downloading this app, you have to register the patient with their mobile number and OTP. You will get the OTP on the mobile number when you press the Get OTP button.
- You can also use this app as a CHO or doctor, if you are.
- After successful validation of the OTP, you have to fill in your profile information, viz., your name, DOB, mobile phone number, email, gender, etc., and click the send OTP button.
- You will get an OTP on this mobile number and email ID (if you provided them). You have to enter this OTP in the desired place on the app screen for validation.
- After successful validation of the OTP and registration, the patient login screen will open. From here, you can login to this app with the help of your mobile number, email ID, and OTP, which you will receive on your registered mobile number or email.
- After a successful login, the dashboard screen will open. From here, you can consult the specialists by pressing the Consult Now button.
- This action will drag you to the screen where you have to select your state, OPD, and doctor, and now you are ready to go! You will be given a serial number, and once your turn comes, the call now button will be active.
- You should follow the instructions that appear on the screen, and now you are ready to use this amazing app.

This app also informs you of OPD timing as per your state or union territory.

Process of Getting Medical Advice from the Doctor via the eSanjeevani App:
When you are interacting with your doctor via video calling, the doctor can access your previous medical record if you have already entered it in this app, and he can advise you accordingly. This app also facilitates getting an e-prescription from the doctor. You can get this e-prescription via SMS containing the link to this prescription.
